Hotshots began with a simple idea.
Creator Justin De Witt was working on a push-your-luck game where failure had lasting consequences. Around the same time, Anne-Marie introduced him to the world of real-life Hotshots, elite wildland firefighters who battle some of the most dangerous fires in the most challenging conditions.
